Joshua* grew up without proper oral health instruction. As a result, he needed restorative treatment on nine teeth. But the cost of the dental care he needed far exceeded what his family could afford to pay.
His dental care provider, Kemple Memorial Children's Dental Clinic, a member of our Dental Resource Program, reached out to America's ToothFairy for help. Thanks to an In the Gap grant, which provide funding to uninsured or under-insured families that can not afford to pay for essential treatment, Joshua received the care he needed to restore his smile to good health.
Since receiving treatment, Joshua's dental hygiene habits have improved and he's teaching his siblings how to brush and floss properly!
