Meet Eliana

Because of gifts from generous donors we have been able to provide healthy smiles, restored confidence, and renewed hope for children and teens across the country—kids like Eliana, a high school student from Charlotte, NC. Through our collaboration with Communities in Schools, we learned that she had been experiencing severe toothaches for nearly a year, but she could not afford the dental services required to relieve her daily pain. Struggling to survive and still a minor, Eliana essentially lived on her own with no regular family presence. Despite her difficult family and financial situation, she faithfully attended school each day.

Through our In the Gap Program, we engaged a volunteer dentist and provided critical funds to cover treatment costs and supplies. Today, Eliana is free from pain and very grateful that she could focus on completing high school.
